A Copeland Lidded Sardine Dish on Sledge Base

Date - Late 19th - Early 20th Century

Description - An interesting piece! A lidded, rectangular dish decorated with sardines and floral trails on a cream ground. Moulded 'rope' binding to the dish with 'knot'finial. The dish is mounted on a sledge base, again with 'rope' moulding

Condition - The decoration is very crisp and bright with minimal sign of any use-related rubbing and there are no signs of cracks or losses.

Backstamp - There is an impressed 'Copeland'
