This carefully observed original drawing was scraped, burnished and rocked into a zinc etching plate using drypoint and mezzotint tools.

Printed with black ink on warm white paper. The paper is thin and delicate.

The paper is in excellent condition. The intaglio plate is cleaned wiped with crisp and clean embossed plate marks around the image.
The paper preserves its natural deckled edge along the bottom edge.

Watermark: Arches France, is visible along the bottom of the paper. The watermark unfortunately is not visible in photography but this print could be framed to show the watermark. Arches order is a professional, artist quality paper. This paper is acid free and will not yellow or decay with age.
