Greetings!
This is an original photograph, taken at Dead Horse Point State Park, in Utah. Dead Horse Point is located at the end of a mesa that is (roughly) 2,000 feet above the Colorado River, on the edge of Canyonlands National Park.
It was a stormy day when I climbed up on these rocks for a better view (and a better photo). There was still snow on the ground from the winter. It was an adventure back in time and space, and into a moment of majesty.
This is an original photograph, taken at Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah. It was cold and stormy, but the power of the Colorado River -- and the eons of patience and purpose with which she carves her canyons -- warmed every corner of my being. (Okay, some hot chocolate would've been nice too!)
