Meissen - order Rote Rose - Antique Coffee Cup

An antique decorative coffee cup and saucer made by Meissen in Germany between 1850 and 1924.

The dish is decorated with order hand painted pink roses. The decor is called 'Rote Rose' or red rose. The coffee cup and saucer bears Meissens's crossed sword mark with two scratches designating it as second quality.

The saucer measures 14 cm. and the cup measures 6 cm. in height.

The item is in an excellent condition with some minor surface wear.
