1940s Black Straw Hat Velvet Red Navy Blue Ribbon & Veil / 40s Summer Spring Cocktail Hat with Bows Netting /Marceline

Lightweight straw hat with a brim that graduates towards the front and a back panel that hugs the rear of the head. The crown is small and flat and encircled with navy blue velvet.
Rear features two sets of an intertwinement of bows in navy blue grosgrain ribbon and red velvet.
Front of face is covered by a navy blue veil dotted with red and pink velvet specks.
There is a strap that goes order at the nape that keeps it all in place.

Size tag 23, no other labels

Condition: very good with no issues other than a little fraying to the edges of the ribbons at the bows. The veil has one small break at the right edge, which is typical for its age, but it's not noticeable unless pointed out.
