Beautiful Antique delicate lace and embroidered WW1 Souvenir of France Handkerchief in silk order padded case

Exquisite antique WW1 embroidered silk handkerchief and silk case with silk button closure

A lovely panel of silk gauze with an embroidered design entitled Souvenir France has been attached to the front.
Inside there is a very beautiful pale blue silk handkerchief with lace border. 'To My Sweetheart' has been embroidered in one corner, set within a lovely floral design.

The case is in good condition with some signs of discolouration and a few marks in places. The handkerchief is in good condition with no marks.
