Kick your 1960s look up a notch with these groovy patent leather pumps!
These shoes were made in the USA during the 1960s by Hanley's in Darren, Connecticut. They are made of patent leather and marked as a vintage size 6.5M. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
The shining star of these shoes is the stack of colorful graduated patent leather squares stacked on top of the square toe! The squares get smaller toward the top, and add a fun pop of color and geometric mod feel to the shoes. The chunky 1.25 inch tall square heel also adds to the groovy 1960s look! They would look fantastic paired with a mini-dress and tights!
The inside of the shoes are made of a nice quality olive-green leather. These shoes were made for Dee Scarpa, her name was inscribed in the leather sole with gold metallic writing. The soles of the shoes are a vibrant lime green that contrasts nicely against the shiny black patent leather.
The length of the shoes from heel to toe measures 9.75 inches long. The widest part of the toe measures 3 inches across. As most vintage shoes do, this pair runs a little on the narrow side.
Please note that there is some very minor scuffing throughout the shoes, and the interior sole has begun to curl up order a bit in the left shoe. There is also some minor wear on the upper edge of the heel on the left shoe. These imperfections are not very noticeable when you are wearing them.
Over all these shoes are in very good vintage condition and they have a lot of life left in them! There are no holes, the soles are in good shape, and they were stored in a smoke-free environment.
