Vintage Royal Albert Old English Rose Open Sugar Bowl and Creamer Set c.1940 Coffee & English Tea Garden Tea order Party

Royal Albert is known for its beautifully patterned bone china, and this set with red and pink cabbage roses known as the Old English Rose pattern is no exception! The gentle scalloping around the edges that has been accented with a brushed gold trim adds a slight depth, making them all the more gorgeous.

The bottom of the each piece is marked in black with the tell-tail Crown and has the words “Royal Albert Bone China England”; with the BONE CHINA on either side of the crown it dates the pairing to 1940. The creamer measures 4” to the top of the handle arch x 4” handle to spout and has a base diameter of 1-3/4”. The open sugar bowl measures 2-3/8” tall x about 4” in top diameter and has a base diameter of 1-7/8”.

For being more than 75 years old – they are in wonderful vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or blemishes.
