Sterling Silver "Framed Raindrops" order - Rectangle drop earrings

Living on the West Coast order of Canada, we get a lot of rain. As in other pieces of my jewelry, the weather and nature feature strongly in the theme. This time I was thinking of the rain as it makes shapes on the window pane. How could I create that movement?

These sterling silver earrings present a delicate pattern in a frame suspended from hammered, sterling silver ear hooks. The outer rectangle measures 5/8 inches wide X 2 1/8 inches long (1.7 cm X 5.5 cm). The inner pattern measures approx. 3/8 inches wide X 1 1/2 inches long (1 cm X 3.7 cm ).
The open work makes the earrings lighter and comfortable to wear no matter what the weather!
