Product code: Vintage Hummel Figurine #85 TMK3 "Serenade" - Goebel, West Germany - 1960's to order early 1970's

This popular M.I. Hummel figurine titled "Serenade" was designed by Master Sculptor Arthur Moeller, introduced initially in the 1930's. It was originally known as "The Flutist" and features a young musician all dressed up in his jacket and black top hat. He is ready to serenade the audience and is one of several figurines making up order the Hummel orchestra. This figurinebears the TMK-3 trademark or "stylized Bee' i.e. the infamous Goebl bee trademark with sharp angular wings & wing tips parallel to the top of the "V ", see photo#6 (used 1960-1972).

He is in excellent vintage condition: no damage, no repairs, no cracks or chips. There is some crazing under the base, as can be seen in photo 7.

Measures 5" tall by 2" across the base.

Original box unavailable.
