This unique chest is decorated both inside and out so it's made to be displayed open. Floral decoration is on the outside while on the inside is an image of ‘The Arming and Departure of the Knights' It's from one of 6 tapestries from Wm. Morris & Co that were designed to tell the tale of King Arthur and the search for the Holy Grail.

This is 1/12 (1 inch) scale size. The measurements are 3 3/8” long x 1 7/8” wide x 1 9/16” high. .

I used Jacobean wood stain and it's finished with 2 coats of semi-gloss varnish.

This is a delicate collectible and is not intended for use in a child's dollhouse.
