The dainty forest green blown glass vase is in excellent condition. The gorgeous ruffled wavy rim over the squatted globular mid-section gives this beautiful succulent planter a very exquisite and petite appearance. Also, the lack of seams is a good indicator that this is a blown glass vase. This is consistent with the irregular pattern on the bottom which appears to have a very shallow and polished pontil mark. In addition, the process for making this blown glass vase has allowed for some very unique and beautiful imperfections inside the glass which are noticeable in the up-close photos.

This beautiful little vase has a mark on the bottom. While the mark is not fully discernable, it appears to be similar to a script F surrounded by a circle. According to references, this small forest green glass planter was most likely produced sometime in the late 1950's to early 1960's. While the reference noted that a particular glass vase almost identical in size and shape to this one was made by Anchor Hocking, the mark appears to be much larger and in a different form than marks representing Anchor Hocking.

While some of the small imperfections in blown glass can be tiny air bubbles, lines, and/or marks inside the actual glass, this particular blown glass vase has a very unique and tiny crack-like line inside the glass - see the pictures. This little line does not appear to be from damage and measures approximately .75". Hence, the tiny line does not run out of the glass in either direction. Also, there are a couple of small dimple-like air bubbles along with a subtle wavy appearance in the glass. These gorgeous imperfections give this dainty little vase character and make it very unique in its overall appearance.

There are no breaks, cracks, chips, or order repair marks on this gorgeous blown glass planter. There are some very slight vintage wear, age, and rub marks on this glass vase/planter - mainly on the base where it has come in contact with different surfaces. They are hardly noticeable - unless the vase is inspected up-close in the light.

The decorative possibilities for this beautiful forest green succulent planter/vase are many. The smaller size of this crimped-pattern vase allows it to work in nearly any area of the home. The entryway or study would be enhanced by the addition of this beautiful blown glass vase. Also, the collectibles' shelf or wide window sill would welcome this gorgeous glass vase for its gorgeous forest green appearance. In addition, this small vase would work great in a vanity or bath area for either holding flowers or storing jewelry.
