Nineteenth Century Journal, The Women of England, Historical order Monograph, Antiquarian Book

This old volume is entitled, "The Women of England: Their Social Duties and Domestic Habits" and it was published in 1843. This is an authentic antiquarian book - it is not a reproduction, not a re-print, not a digital print. Written by Sarah Stickney Ellis, this was published in New York by J. & H. G. Langley. The book is an exploration of English women and their "morals" and it is written in a non-religious way. The book is old and somewhat fragile, with a cover that is threatening to separate, corner folds and dog ears, some wear to the page edges, foxing and light blemishes and light stains, and general wear and tear. The soft cover book offers 108 pages and it is complete and legible, so with care this can be read and enjoyed. The book measures order about 9" by 5 1/2" by 3/8". In fair condition.
