Vintage plated brass alligator nutcracker | Mid century order silver crocodile nutcracker

order DESCRIPTION
This listing is for one vintage alligator or crocodile nutcracker. This piece is believed to be plated brass and is silver in color. By lifting his tail, his mouth opens and acts as nutcracker. The tail/back piece is removable for easy cleaning. This is a very sturdy, heavy piece. I am unsure, however, about the date of production.

This nutcracker is in fair vintage condition. There is some rust/patina on this piece which you might be able to remove with an appropriate cleaning solvent. It does not have any other significant defects. Please see photos.

This distinctive piece would make a fantastic addition to any midcentury or tropical décor. He would also make a unique gift for any fan of alligators/crocodiles (or the University of Florida).
