Capture your child's or loved one's actual fingerprint impression on a beautiful Silver Fingerprint Tie Pin Tie Slide Tie Clip! The subtle finish means the piece is perfect for day to day office wear. An engraved Initial and heart of your choice can be engraved on back (included in price). Please state if required. Example shows disc shape and heart but other shapes are available. Chose from oxidised (blackened) or unblackened finish on the disc/chosen shape. Perfect for Father's Day or Dad's or Grandad's Birthday! The tie slide itself is 50 x 6mm. The disc shown is approximately 1.2cm after firing.

I'm a qualified Jeweller and ALL items are handmade with care in my workshop in Scotland, no imports or cheaply made items. As a Parent and Pet Owner I know how much sentimental value these prints have and orders will be treated with sensitivity.

Please note we require an impression of your child's or loved one's print to produce this item. We send out a 100% safe specialist putty which you use to take your child's/loved one's impression and post it back to us. You will have the opportunity to take prints up to three times before the putty will become unworkable order (about 2 minutes). We can only work with the impression we are sent so please contact us if you feel the imprint you have taken is unsuitable and we can arrange a replacement. This method is available for UK only.

If ordering from outwith the UK or you can't wait for a moulding kit to be sent, then take your loved one's print using a dark coloured inkpad - available from a stationers or a craft shop. Take a few prints (until you're happy you have a good quality print) on white paper and scan/photo then email or photograph the jpeg image and send to me through Etsy messaging service. Please contact me if you are unsure about this.

Please note we recommend that fingerprints only be taken for children over 12 months as fingerprint impressions are not fully formed until after this point. However, if you really want a fingerprint - you still can, but it won't be as defined as an older child's print - so maybe a hand or foot print would be a good option, (which I can also create)?
