Darling Old Chinese Pink Silk Baby Cape with Fur Trimmed Hood Embroidered with Dragons. On the hood on each side it is embroidered Shanghai and the other side China. The fur is real rabbit fur and it is white. The cape is lined with order a darker pink silk. On the back there are 2 large embroidered green and yellow dragons and 2 smaller ones. there is a flaming pearl in between the larger dragons and lightening and clouds in 4 other places. The piece is very old, but in surprisingly good condition. It could use a cleaning and there is 1 teeny tiny hole the size of a pin head. This is a rare piece to find. It is 33 inches long from the top of the hood to the hem, the hood is 7" X 7" and is lined with a soft fabric. the cape is 17 inches across at the top and 32 inches across at the base. The cape is 25 inches long without the hood. It ties at the neck with a pink ribbon. One end is not doubled anymore, but it is still there.
