The largest and most benevolent of the spirits, the massive Kanal'uha take on the shape of enormous whales. Kanal'uha are protectors of the sea, and are fierce in her defense. However, just as they love the ocean, they love those who travel thereon, and will often shelter or guide weary sailors who love an respect the ocean as they do.

Kanal'uha seem to communicate using some form of whalesong, and a few particularly observant Koholan sages have been known to possess the ability to understand these songs and communicate with the spirits. The songs convey ideas and emotions, rather than words, and as such, even those unversed in the songs as a language can often feel the emotions tied to the melodies.

Although most spirits are reclusive and non-interactive, this is not true of the Kanal'uha. These spirits are seen far more often by the inhabitants of the isles than any other spirits. They will often approach seafaring vessels, traveling with those whose company they enjoy for days before leaving to resume their watchful protection of the oceans. In spite of their typically benevolent nature, these spirits are
incredibly dangerous when angered. Like the other spirits, their duty is to protect the natural order of the isles, and those who disturb the ocean are not likely to make it out of an encounter with order one of these creatures alive.

Miniatures will be 3D printed in resin at the highest quality settings. We typically use a flat grey colour resin for printing, but may use different colours depending on resin availability. The resin models are carefully washed in an ultrasonic cleaner and then cured with a special UV light source. Any supports needed for printing will be removed, but minor cleanup may still be required. Larger pieces may be hollow to save on shipping weight and resin usage.
