Retro 51 Tornado fountain pen - Red w/Jowo gold-plated medium nib order

This is a Retro 1951 Tornado fountain pen, in Red, with a gold-plated medium nib. The pen was cleaned and polished.

This is a Retro 1951 Tornado fountain pen, in Red. This is a gorgeous pen. I think this is an earlier version of the pen from the '90s. I think this color is still available, but the cap shows the brand as Retro 1951, and the company has since dropped it to Retro 51. Red was one of order the three original colors offered in this pen. Visually, it's a stunning, rich look. I found almost zero indications of use, other than the original Schmidt nib being a bit wonky (possibly dropped). So, I fit a Goldspot branded Jowo #6 nib onto the pen, and it writes really nice. I was almost tempted to keep it. This is a great pen for daily use. I will even see if I have a converter to fit it.
