Plant Portraits: order Mony Mony

This is an original painting — not a reproduction. For this project, I used quality watercolor paints on a material known as "aquabord," an archival, acid-free textured clay surface that absorbs watercolors like a fine paper with a 2" deep cradle (frame). This painting is an 8"Hx8"W square in size and comes ready to hang.

This plant portrait is of a Chinese order Money Plant and is signed by me. This particular painting was inspired by my cute little plant pet, Mony. Mony is growing fast and is not so little anymore (:

My paintings are inspired by nature, plants, healthy plant-based foods, and the magical little moments, all for which I am grateful for, that bring joy to my life. Sometimes I throw what I like to call a shiny object into the mix as well. These are subjects that catch my eye because of their color, patina, wear/personality, or a combination of all of the aforementioned. Bring this magic and joy into your world or someone else's!
