Shibori silk embroidered cuff order bracelet with Ohio Flint cabochon

This beautiful embroidered cuff bracelet is a piece if wearable art and was created with careful attention to the color and flow of order the piece of Shibori silk used. Working with the movement of the silk on beading foundation, I added and bezeled a gorgeous Ohio Flint cabochon to highlight the pink of the ribbon. I embroidered the rest of the ribbon with lamp work discs, freshwater pearls, Czech glass beads, Japanese seed beads and other beads of various sizes. The cuff is backed with tan ultra suede. This piece is about 2 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches long. It has an aluminum core allowing it to be tightened or loosened slightly if desired. Design and creation of this piece took me 6-8 hours.
