Sweet little copper pot upcycled into this fabulous musical wind chime! Part of the handle is brass as is the spout.
I always use 7 strand coated jewelry wire for hanging my silverplate. Monofilament/fishing line degrades over time, especially in the sunlight.
The chime lines are filled with shades of turquoise, white and several iridized clear crystal beads which really sparkle when the sun hits them just right. The beaded lines are held inside the pot with sinkers, washers and lots and lots of all-weather epoxy.
The four bells are brass and sound so nice when ringing against the silverplate. I chose to hang the bells using a decorative brass chain. I made sure each link of the chain was soldered tight at the top and bottom, to prevent anything coming apart at the top or bottom of each strand holding a bell. The bells are held in place with bent wire inside the pot.
The handle of the teapot is hardwood, it probably wouldn't hurt if you coated it with clear acrylic spray before placing outside. The pot has a few dents on both sides, just below the middle. They don't distract from how pretty it is, just adds to its charm.
The sweet little pot measures 9 inches across and about 8 inches tall with the handle.
The finished length is 24 inches.
I gift wrap for free and can ship direct. I have this set as ground shipping. You can upgrade at checkout if you'd like.
