'The Green Man' is primarily interpreted as a symbol of rebirth, represented in the cycle of growth each spring. This is a giclee canvas print made from my own folk-art watercolour painting. Highly detailed and quite realistic, I made sure that my interpretation of the Green Man was not too scary a portrait, in fact he is quite handsome I think (based on my own photograph) The colours are mostly glorious greens but I added a few golden and red hues to add interest.
