Oak Leaf Jewelry, Chinkapin Oak order Fine Silver Pendant Necklace

She stands tall at the edge of the prairie along the creek that runs a deep crevice in the land of the Flint Hills. She generously feeds all who come to her table and provides shelter from the summer Kansas sun. She is steadfast and deeply rooted in her environment. Sounds like motherhood, doesn't it?

This pendant necklace celebrates the mighty chinkapin oak tree (and mothers). The pendant is made from a mold of the tiniest new leaf of spring and measures approximately 7/8 inch in length.

MATERIALS: The pendant is made from recycled fine silver (99.9% pure silver). It hangs gracefully from an 18" sterling silver chain.

CARE: Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces when needed. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished order with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation in place.
