This is a beautiful modernist acacia wood salad serving order set handmade circa mid to late 20th century. The wood grain on the bowls is just perfect. The bowls are light and airy which is why I believe this is acacia wood and not teak. Honestly, when done properly, I think it is just as pretty as teak. The set includes a 10 inch serving bowl with four matching dining bowls. I have also included a pair of mid century salad servers that I had because I thought they matched perfectly. The have wood handles and stainless steel tops. They were made in Japan and I think these may actually be teak. The serving bowls measure: 10x4 inches and the dining bowls are: 6x3.25. The utensils are each 13 inches long. I cannot find a bit of damage or even a scratch on this set. Appears to have never been used. Excellent wedding gift.
