Sterling Silver Overlay Pedestal Platter, 13 Inch Torte Plate, Flanders order Poppy Pattern, Silver City, Silver Anniversary Gift, Footed Plate

Large and lovely - sterling silver overlay in Flanders poppy pattern on a clear 13-inch platter with ruffled edges and "dimples" enhancing the glass plate. Made by Silver City in the 1940s or 50s, this large cake stand has a large pedestal base which elevates the plate by about an inch. This makes a nice presentation for cake, torte, sandwiches, and more.

The pedestal platter is in excellent condition given the age, no chips or cracks. There is a little wear to the sterling silver overlay but its not too bad. Take a good look at the photos.

Size: The cake plate measures 13 inches in diameter, and stands approx 1 inch tall.
