Vintage large wood crucifix with heavy painted resin Jesus - some wear

The gentleman I purchased this from told me that his mother painted it in the 70's.
It is quite large- measurements in photos…
The Wood has little wear. The gold tone strips are glued to the crucifix.
Jesus and INRI are made from a resin like material and do have some chipping- pictured.
I don't think it takes away from its beauty and could be touched up with paint.
