Vintage signed LIA (Lianna) Christmas tree brooch pin. Gold tone retro style Christmas tree brooch, with bright green and bright pink enamel ball ornaments. The brooch is in very good condition and is signed on the back. This brooch is featured on page 29 of Kathy Flood's book, "Comprehensive Jewelry Guide to Christmas Tree Pins, Vol. II, Signed: Edition A".

Please note : The two jewelry brands “LIANNA, INC” and “Lia Sophia” which are often confused. In fact, they are two different companies that have worked in different styles and techniques.

Measurements: Approximately 2" H x 1 1/2" W at the widest point

Condition: Very good, with no noticeable wear.

Markings: The back is signed "LIA" with the copyright © symbol first.

Lianna LIA signed vintage costume jewelry was established in Cranston, Rhode Island in 1995. Lianna Inc., despite the short period of time, became famous in particular for it's high quality enamel hand crafted brooches. The company mainly specialized in the production of Christmas motif, fairy tale and toy motif jewelry. Traditionally the craftsmen of this company used jewelry alloy of gold and silver tones, blackening and hand-painted multi-colored enamels. Lucite, rhinestones and Swarovski crystals were also sometimes used. All decorations have hallmark LIA and a copyright sign. The company ceased to exist in 2003. Now collectible, the cost of these costume decorations order will increase every year.
