Striking Vintage Boudoir Doll in Hand Sewn Costume order

This large 1940s boudoir doll has a strong presence wherever she is displayed. Definitely a conversation starter!

The doll is wearing a new hand-stitched taffeta dress with machine embroidery, matching taffeta headdress and a linen petticoat, all made by me from vintage material. The dress style is similar to the original outfit, which unfortunately was in complete tatters and unsalvageable. Also included is a pair of vintage machine-sewn knickers.

Updated mohair locks, fresh and clean.

The face, hands and feet are original composite material. The body is the original cloth.

The doll is 26" long, 7" wide at shoulders.

Please order note there are some cracks in the composite material on one side of the doll's nose, plus some surface damage to the back of the neck - common imperfections on dolls of this age. She still looks great!
