Watercolor Painting - order Hebrides - Iona - Scotland - Red Boat - Landscape

This one of a kind, original hand painted watercolor was inspired by this sweet little beach scene from the island of Iona in the Hebrides of Scotland.

We took a photo in July 2019 and it's one that I have often thought about.
It's my second time painting the scene, and one I think I will revisit again.

The scene captures a quiet morning in Iona with the Isle of Mull in the background. A red boat waits patiently on the beach for its fishermen passengers.

The painting is done on a 9” x 12” cold press paper.

The image measures 8” x 6”

This painting is unframed.
Painted with sennelier and kuretake watercolors. Small details done with micron pen.

All paintings are shipped in a plastic order sleeve with cardboard backing.
