Howlite pendant, grey and white howlite point necklace, raw crystal order rustic jewelry, esoteric talisman, occult amulet, dark, forest witch

Howlite pendant, made by a grey and white howlite point set into darkened eco-tin and silver solder using the Tiffany technique, used in stained glass works and most associated with the Art Nouveau movement.
The piece has a soul made of copper made following classical metalsmith tecniques, which works as a sort of a cage. This "cage" is then covered with layers of eco-tin and silver solder, which I model to create its raw and rough shapes.
After that, I apply patinas to darken and oxidize the metal, and I give the finishing touches polishing it with a rough sponge and with wool steel, giving to the piece its antique look. For this pendant I used two different patinas, to create some subtle brownish / rusty undertones to the oxidation.

The pendant measures approximately 55 mm x 24 mm / 2.16 inches x 0.94 inches.

Howlite is a stone that is probably best known for its effects on self-awareness, including improved creativity and the individual's sense of well being. It's often connected with decency, character building and developing positive personal traits by decreasing rudeness and offensive behavior.
