Vintage 1960's JAPAN 8" big eyed pose doll - little girl with precious tiny dog (a white terrier). The dog has a tiny gold leash chain, tiny black bead eyes, little black nose, and tiny red tongue - made from white and palest blue fiber pipe cleaners - in super nice condition! Base is blue plastic with a white border - with wood underneath - one is stamped underneath - has the original gold foil sticker TILSO JAPAN. The doll has hand painted silk face, silk covered body and limbs, red felt like fabric "shoes", flirty side glancing large green & blue animated eyes, vivid red heart kiss lips, finest floss hair (palest blue / white) - short dress is sheer red & with white cotton underskirt, white jacket / collar with velvety pink & yellow flower ornaments, crisp white bonnet & pink ribbon around head tied into a bow, blue pearl bead chain around her neck, and white ribbon panties. Very clean and never played with - well cared for all these years. DOLL order MEASURES 8" TALL INCLUDING THE BASE.
