Unique, handmade violas set amongst foliage wall art. Created from hand cut sheet glass, glass powders and glass frits with some enamel detail. Each viola has been created from deep, dark purple glass and embellished with flashes of complimentary coloured petals to mimic a showy viola flower. Fired numerous times to achieve the correct textures and definition. Completed with an interesting and unusual black metal contemporary frame with chain for hanging.

Our family home was at the beautiful Harlyn Bay, Cornwall overlooking the beach and out over the ocean to order Gulland Rock. I now live a few steps from the beach where my Irish home looks out over the Wild Atlantic Coast of Northern Ireland towards the shores of The Mull of Kintyre and the Scottish Isles. Walking daily the unspoilt white sand beaches, glens and natural local woodland around my Irish home and returning to my Cornish roots and Cornwall as often as I can to do the same, I find lots of inspiration for my glasswork from the beautiful surroundings.

I use Bullseye's finest glass, fired in a kiln for several days and then reworked and re-fired a number of times to achieve the final result. Found in Fused Glass Cornwall, Fused Glass Ireland and Fused Glass Flowers.
