Order Pair Cufflinks inscribed Bensinger Sterling Gold

This is a great pair of cufflinks in a modernist design. On the back they are inscribed Bensinger with SS and 18C. I tested these and they do appear to be both sterling silver with gold although I cannot guarantee 18 carat. The clip is marked 925. I could find nothing about a jeweler named Bensinger but they are obviously hand made.

The face is 1/2" in diameter.
