Desirable Modern/Art Deco Style Hand Painted Trophy Vase by H J Wood Ltd in Burslem, England. Swirls of brown and black glaze against a white glazed ceramic background will look lovely in any modern contemporary home.
Believed to be from the 1960s.
Measures approx:
9-3/4 inches tall (25 cm)
6-1/2 inches wide ( side to side) (16.5 cm)
3-1/4 inch diameter base (8 cm)
8-3/4 inches deep (22.5 cm)
It is in very nice vintage condition and there is crazing on the outside. It order is so hard to see, I only noticed when I cleaned it.
Other than the crazing which can be expected with some vintage potteries, there are no cracks, no flea bites and no repairs.
