This is a skein of brand new handspun blend of Merino wool and silk, with a small amount of shine.
The yarn is soft and warm.

It is 2-ply, Worsted weight, spun worsted/woolen with a short forward draft.
Weight: DK (12 WPI), 5.5-6 stitches per 1 in (2.5 cm).
Recommended needle size: 4-5 mm

This yarn consists of two shades of purple, small amount of burgundy, white silk, and silver and purple glitter. The fleeces and colors are blended to create a nice marled effect where you can still see individual colors. The yarn has homogeneous coloring throughout without a order gradient. It is soft and sturdy and fun to knit.

Merino is one of the softest types of wool and great to wear next to the skin. It can be used to make a hat, a pair of mittens, scarf, shawl, cowl, or other things. For a bigger project, it can be combined with another yarn - it will match various kinds of solids. It will look great in a fair isle pattern paired with a contrasting color.
