This is Such a Stunning Flapper Bag! The Antique Handbag is Stamped Inside the Silver Frame in a Cartouche: Whiting and Davis Co. Mesh Bags. The Company Began in Plainville, Massachusetts in 1876 and Made Their First Mesh Handbag in 1892.

This Style of Handbag Was Produced in the Late 1920's, Called Dresden with Soft Muted Hues. The Baby Fine Mesh has a Silk Screened Color Process. The Base of the Mesh is Soft Ivory With an Abstract Pattern. The Soft Colors are Pink, Red and Maroon and a bit of Blue. The Bottom of the Bag Has Lovely Fringe Detail.

The Silver-Tone Frame has a Vivid Red Enameled Accent that just order POPS! I love the red!! The Purse Opens and Closes with a Kiss-lock Fastener. The Chain Handle Is Simple Cable Linked Chain.

Inside on Both Frames is the Whiting & Davis Co. Trademark Stamp. There is no Lining Present.
