Vintage Watt Pottery Large order Silhouette Serving Tray

I'm excited to offer this vintage Watt Pottery 15 inch serving platter. Made in the Silhouette pattern it features a hand painted light green star flower pattern on a dark brown base and dates from the late 1940s. The piece is order made of classic Watt dark yellow beige pottery. Ideal for charcuterie, tacos and more. The back is lightly marked "Watt" and noted that it is made in the USA.

The tray is a full 15” in diameter and stands approximately 1 1/2"” high.

The tray has some glaze discoloration on the front surface as well as wear visible when turned toward a light, shown. There are some areas of missed glaze as well as pock type marks in the glaze, all of which are signs of hand making and how the piece arrived from Watt when new. There are some significant chips shown in the bottom ring, also pictured, as well as general counterwear and scuffing. The piece is solid and infinitely useable. Handwash only.
