THE CRAFTING JOURNEY

Handcrafted in my Northumberland studio, it still thrills and inspires me to know that these hoops, made from lengths of fine metal sheet are hand-formed in much the same way as they have been for hundreds or even thousands of years.

Each star hoop is hand-cut and then hand-etched with stars, curled and formed.

My name is Sarah and I'm intensely passionate about the visual language of jewellery. Starting out in London and then New York, I've been making jewellery for 20 years, born out of a love for these tiny pieces of art.

All Sarah Hickey jewellery is handcrafted with care in our Hexham workshop, hidden amongst the rolling Tynedale hills of beautiful Northumberland. We are a small team, who work hard to embrace beauty in all things and are proud to be a part of British Craft.
