A BIT ABOUT TECHNIQUE:
These earrings are woven by hand using a needle and thread. Each bead is picked up one at a time and manipulated to form the desired shape. Once the general form is established, layers of beads and embellishments are added to create structure, texture, and depth. The earring back, as well as the stone, are woven internally into the earring - no glue is used or needed as the pieces are entirely encased within the beadwork. This method of design takes time, but results in a structurally sound, secure, and beautifully detailed pair of earrings.
