A lovely Chinese Imari dish, made in the early 20th century.
The dish is rounded in shape, but is contoured giving it an almost oyster/ clam shell shape.
The dish lid is totally removable and sits in place on a grooved lip.
It is decorated with blue, red and gold floral patterning, with unusually, 2 pale green flowers on the lower portion.
The base has markings for the Tongzhi period.
The dish is approx. 3.25" (8.5cm) tall and approx. 4.75" (12cm) diameter. It weighs approx. 524g.
It is in great antique condition. There is some wear to the edges of both the upper and lower rims, with some discoloration, and minor roughness. Base also has minor wear.
