Vintage 1930'S/ Early 1940'S Whiting and Davis Cream Mesh order And Gold Evening Bag

This a vintage 1930's or early 40's Whiting and Davis creme mesh evening bag with a gold plated frame. I generally don't buy W&D bags unless they are evening bags that look great. The mesh is in great condition and so is the mesh order woven handle. The creme plating is a bit worn on one part of the handle. It could easily be fixed with some creme colored paint but it really doesn't take away from the beauty of the handbag. The gold plated frame has two small spots where the plating is worn a tiny bit. Considering it's age, almost 80 years old, I think that it's in great condition. It measures 9 1/2" long on the bottom and about 5" wide. Please e-mail me with any questions?
