The Vegvísir, a Nordic compass, is laser etched order on this leather journal cover. As the Huld Manuscript put it: “If this sign is carried, one will never lose one's way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known.” So for whatever new journey you're headed on and whatever life may throw at you, rest easy knowing that the Vegvísir has your back.

This leather cover fits a 3.5" x 5" notebook (9cm x 14cm). This works with the Classic Moleskine or small Field Notes. Moleskine Classic journal can be included with cover for additional fee.

This journal cover is made to order. It will take roughly two weeks to craft and ship.

OUR PROCESS

Hand crafted by us, the Daughters of the Forge, in our Arkansas workshop. The cover is made from top grain, vegetable tanned leather with a laser etched design. The cover is then sanded, stained, edge-dyed, hand stitched, and riveted or snapped. We finish the products with beeswax for the inside, acrylic resolene to seal the front and all over neatsfoot oil for conditioning. It is then hand stitched together and molded to fit a journal. This is a family product created with love and care!
