The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch order

This is a full scale (and nearly identical) replica of The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, as first presented to the world in Monty Python and The Holy Grail.

The original movie prop was recently discovered and sold at auction in 2019 for ~$74,000

I wanted to capture as much authenticity when modeling this prop while ensuring it's ability to be 3D printed.
Plus I didn't have ready access to a metal toilet bowl cistern ball float (the original base for the prop).

The base and removable cross are 3d printed in PETG plastic. The gems and pearls are craft items in keeping with movie prop-making tradition.

These replicas are made to order and can be ready for shipment in 1-2 weeks.

Each Holy Hand Grenade measures approximately true to the original size of 13cm x 18cm (~5in x 7in).
