Cherry Blossom and Plum flowers on a order mug

This is a mug I threw on the wheel using a cone 6 white stoneware order body.

I used slip to create raised lines to draw flowers on the outside of the cup. This drawing process is also known as slip trailing.

I made four cups that are this same design:

Mug A: 4.5 inches tall, holds 16 fl oz
Mug B: 4.75 inches tall, holds 18 fl oz
Mug C: 4.3 inches tall, holds 13 fl oz
Mug D: 5.3 inches tall, holds 24 fl oz

Mug D isn't in the photo. It looks similar to Mug B but taller.

The flowers are spot-glazed with a glossy pink glaze. The plum flowers on mugs A and C are glazed with a glossy red glaze. The rest of the outside of the cup is glazed in a glossy celadon glaze with faint spots of glossy white glaze. The inside of the cup is glazed with a food safe white glaze.
