order The pendant in this necklace is a large, elegant grey glass Buddha, about 2.5" tall-3" (75mm) with bail and ring. The carving is detailed and dimensional, with the Buddha seated on a lotus in classic meditation pose, eyes closed, legs folded and hands cupping each other. The transparent glass can look quite pale in the light, but will take on the darker tone of surfaces under it.

The necklace is strung with raw amethyst nuggets, 16-17mm; these are little crystal clusters, with points, but the gentle color, fading to almost white, gives the stones a soft quality, like lavender clouds. Faceted and polished amethyst nuggets in deep purple, about 14mm, add more depth of color, while the glossy seal-grey chrysoberyl beads echo the grey of the pendant. Tiny red garnets and ornate silver plated bicones serve as spacers.

The beaded necklace is 19" long with its sterling silver hook clasp, with the pendant and bail adding a little over 3" to the total length (22").
