VINTAGE MODERNIST RING ASYMMETRICAL STERLING SILVER & COPPER MARRIED METALS MIXED SIZE 5

This unique Modernist ring has a wonderful asymmetrical shape and has a married metal design of silver and copper. The artisan merged the copper with the silver to produce a beautiful, seamless design. The ring is unsigned for maker or metal content but acid tests silver. The ring is a size 5 and will need to fit snug as it is top heavy. There are two small slits in the silver where it joins the copper - one on each side, likely as the center is hollow.

The top portion of the ring measures 3/4 inch tall to the point and is 7/16 inch at the widest. Lovely patina to this ring with some tarnish and some surface scratches. Weight is 9.6 grams. Circa 1960s. This artisan - made ring is perfect for accessorizing your own unique style! It certainly makes a statement. (#1JRP1/30-15)
