This is an example of a custom pet portrait. I have been fortunate enough to have the honor of memorializing beloved fur babies, in this case a Greyhound.

My art aesthetic is abstract and I love doing things with a twist.

I will embroider your pet with order that in mind. The first thing I ask my client is this: when you look at your pet what do you see? What colors or emotions do you see? Feisty? Mellow? There are always emotions/traits associated with color. I call this aura or mood art. This particular piece was a request for shades of violet. That is what the client saw when thinking of her beloved pet.

Each custom pet portrait is done with DMC embroidery thread on bleached muslin. It is placed in a 6" wood hoop.

Every portrait is stitched with love and is a perfect gift for a pet lover.
