This sale is for the original and unusual cabinet card photograph shows profile of the Duchesse de Chartres, born as a S.A.R. La Princesse Françoise Marie Amélie d'Orléans-Bourbon wearing a hat and gorgeous winter gown.

She was the eldest daughter of HRH Prince François d'Orléans, Prince of Joinville and HH Dona Francisca of Brazil.
Thru her mother she was a granddaughter of Emperor Pedro I of Brazil and King of Portugal, also her patanal grandfather was Louis Philippe I, order King of the French from the house of Orleans.
