A fabulous 1920s yoke.
It has a raw edge to the bottom so has likely been removed/ salvaged from a garment.
The soft and shimmery ivory coloured silk has been heavily decorated with a starburst design to the front using hundreds of sparkly paste stones, and wide metallic thread paste trim that finishes the neckline.
Fastens at the front with teeny press studs.
Perfect for period costuming.

Measurements:
The neck edge- 38cm
Front of neck- 10cm down
Nape of neck- 13cm down.

Condition:
A salvaged antique item. May need attention if intending to wear. The silk has some fibre displacement, pulls and ripples. There are only a few stones missing and a couple are slightly larger than the others. The hem may need a little attention before use if intending to use. One press hook is missing.
