This is an antique silver vanity set or Etui. The set comprises 4 silver handled tools including a nail file, tweezers, button hook, corkscrew and a celluloid cuticle tool. The silver handles are hallmarked and assayed in London in 1917. The maker was Charles Henry Dumenil who specialised in gold and silver toilet cases and dressing sets. The handles are sterling silver but the tool ends are steel for strength.
The case is burgundy scrim. The case and handles are monogrammed with the initials LD. Generally good condition just a little internal wear see photos.
